GEAR CASE STRUCTURE FOR MOBILE AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

PURPOSE:To carry out smooth power transmission and enable prevention of a coupling part from damaging, by providing a construction in which the back end of an output gear shaft of a gear case is positioned before the back end of an input gear shaft. CONSTITUTION:A gear case 5 is supported by a transmission case of a travel machine body and an output gear shaft 12 of a gear case 5 is arranged at a position shifted in front of an input gear shaft so as to overlap with the power take-off shaft 4. Thereby, the output end of the output gear shaft 12 is positioned as forward as possible. As a result, effective length of a transmission shaft 6 can be ensured as long as possible though the gear case 5 is provided. Accordingly, the coupling angle of a coupling part [the coupling part between a universal joint (12a) and the side of an input shaft (2a)] to the transmission shaft 6 is reduced and not only smooth transmission can be carried out but also damage of the coupling part can be prevented without a fear of applying excessive load to the coupling part.
