<p>The invention relates to a turning or turn-and-tilt window 1, on the fixed frame 2 of which are arranged projecting turning or turn-and-tilt bearings for the wing 3. The wing 3 receives the bearings 4, 5 and covers them in recesses 9, 10 of its overlap 15 resting at least partially on the fixed frame 2. However, in the known embodiments, when the recesses 9, 10 located in the overlap 15 of the window wing 3 are being worked out, there is still always the difficulty that these recesses are of triangular cross-section and therefore notch effects occur, these causing the remaining walls to break out, with the result that the entire window wing then becomes valueless and useless.
