Programme storage method in television receivers

During a station-finding run, television transmitter frequency and field strength values are detected and from the detected values digital information items are preferably formed. These information items are stored in storage locations which are combined with one another in pairs and are ordered in accordance with ascending or descending field strength values and to which in each case one input key is allocated for setting the television set to a television transmitter determined by its transmitter frequency.
