PURPOSE: To detect the density of a print part at a low cost, in an existing device structure and with no intervention of manual operation by reading the image of a medium printed at the print part through an image reading part and deciding the density of the printed medium at a control part based on the image read information. CONSTITUTION: When a customer designates the issue of a transfer card 12 in a transfer transaction mode, a unit control part sends the card 12 to a card insertion/ejection port 51 after the card is drawn out of a transfer card storing part 57 and includes the name of the financial institution of the transfer destination side, etc., printed at a transfer card print part 58. Then an image reading part 55 reads the image of the card 12, and the unit control part compares the read image data with the standard data. If it is judged that the density of the image data is thinner than that of the standard data, the unit control part displays the notification for replacement of the ink ribbon of the part 58 at a fault management part via a control part. Then the unit control part ejects the card 12 to the port 51. |
