发明名称 OPTICAL COMMUNICATION MODULE
摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain an optical communication module which is inexpensive and has high reliability by adhering and fixing an optical element and an optical element holder via a conductive adhesive, thereby directly electrically conducting this optical element and the optical element holder. CONSTITUTION: Adhesive injection holes 6 penetrating the housing space for the photodetector 1 from outside are formed at two points, above and below, at the base end side face of the photodetector holder 2. The conductive adhesive 4 of the amt. necessary is injected from these adhesive injection holes 6 into the spacing between the photodetector 1 and the photodetector holder 2. The amt. of the adhesive to be applied on the surface of the photodetector 1 is controlled to an optimum amt. The adhesive injection holes 6 formed on the side faces of the photodetector holder 2 are used as the holes for preventing the overflow of the conductive adhesive 4 to the glass surface in the upper part of the photodetector 1 according to the position adjustment of the photodetector 1 and conversely for injecting the adhesive in the case the conductive adhesive 4 is necessary. The electrical conduction of the photodetector 1 and the photodetector holder 2 is assured via a conductive resin agent and the electrical coupling is made possible without requiring members, such as leaf springs.
