PURPOSE: To provide a producing method to obtain an inexpensive color filter having high accuracy and no rough surface of an ink color layer, and to provide a color filter produced by this method. CONSTITUTION: The method includes at least a process (a) to form an ink accepting layer 7 on a substrate 5, a process (b) to color the accepting layer 7 by ink-jet method, a process (d) to flatten the accepting layer 7, and a process to completely harden the layer with heat or light. The color filter has plural kinds of small color parts arranged in the ink accepting layer 7 formed on one surface of the substrate 5. |
