<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a junction box by which a limit to a flowing current is relaxed by a method wherein an additive whose thermal conductivity is higher than that of constituent material for a lower case and an upper case and whose electric insulation property is good is added to the constituent material for both cases in which the upper case is polymerized to the lower case. CONSTITUTION: A lower case 1 and an upper case 3 are formed of polyethylene or polypropylene as a constituent material so as to be polymerized. A plurality of bus bars 11 are housed at the inside, and a junction box for connection a wire harness is constituted. Silicon dioxide, magnesium oxide, boron nitride or beryllium oxide whose thermal conductivity is higher than that of the polyethylene or the polypropylene as the constituent material and whose electric insulation property is excellent is added to the propylene or the polypropyrene. Thereby, the heat dissipating property of the junction box is improved, and a limit to a current flowing to the bus bars is relaxed.</p> |
