PURPOSE: To easily inspect whether a wrong electric control device is installed or not, at the time of shipment by a method wherein the electric control device displays the kind of electric control device for a specified period of time by a display apparatus, based on memory data, when power is turned on under a state wherein the switch is operated. CONSTITUTION: A control box is provided in the housing of a refrigerator, and in the box, a print substrate on which an electric control device 20A to constitute a computer device is installed is stored. In an EEPROM 22 of the electric control device 20A, a program corresponding with data to indicate the kind of electric control device 20A and a flow chart, is stored. Based on the memory data, when a power source is input under a state wherein an operation switch 35 is operated, the kind of electric control device 20A is displayed by a display apparatus 36 for a specified period of time. By this method, whether a wrong electric control device is installed or not can be easily inspected at the time of shipment. |
