Textile machine, esp. a twister has work stations, into which feed packages are inserted and from which take-up packages are removed. Package supports are located in the area above the work stations and are equipped with several mandrels (8.1-8.4) for the mounting of packages or package tubes. The mandrel holders are integrated into a support piece (6), which extends across the whole machine length and takes the form of a hollow profile. At least one of the sidewalls (6.1, 6.2) runs diagonally at an acute angle in relation to the vertical plane. Mandrels (8.1-8.4) are located on this sidewall (6.1, 6.2).
