PURPOSE: To obtain an inverter monitoring apparatus by which a half-wave output and a counter electromotive voltage are detected to be abnormal even when an inductive load is connected to an inverter and by which a power supply to a old is stopped. CONSTITUTION: An inverter monitoring apparatus 3 is constituted of an output detection means 4 which detects an AC output to be output from an inverter 1, of an output judgment means 5 which outputs mutually different judgment signals at a time when the AC output detected by the output detection means 4 is normal and when the AC output is abnormal in such a way that it becomes a half-wave output and a counter electromotive voltage due to the half-wave output and of an output abnormality judgment means 6 which judges the normality and the abnormality of the AC output on the basis of the judgment signal from the output judgment means 5 and which outputs an abnormality judgment signal when the abnormality is judged. |
