PURPOSE: To rationalize the control of display or the like according with actual broadcast contents by quickly and accurately responding to the updating or revision of actual broadcast contents to acquire a data base. CONSTITUTION: A read-only database memory 17 where data related to broadcast stations including discrimination data of broadcast stations, discrimination data of program types, and reception frequency data are stored correspondingly to geographical position information, a demodulation system 12 which demodulates RBDS(radio broadcast data system) data from a reception broadcast wave, a memory 18 for database supplement where data can be written and read any time, and a control system 16 are provided. Information contents of RBDS data, data related to broadcast stations, and stored data in the memory for supplement are compared. If the broadcast station instructed by RBDS data doesn't match with any of broadcast station instructed by data related to broadcast stations and that instructed by stored data of the memory for supplement, the control system 16 controls write of RBDS data to the memory for acquisition. |
