PURPOSE:To make the lighting direction of each LED on an insulated metal board and the optical axis of a corresponding lens within a front lens plate coincide with each other by providing two guide pins on one of the insulated metal board and the front lens plate, and combining both of the plates with the pins. CONSTITUTION:An insulated metal board 1 comprises an epoxy resin layer 13 on an aluminum plate 12, and aluminum electrode pattern 15, and has a dent 11 formed with a drawing process. The electrode pattern 15 covers the side wall 14 of the dent 11 and the root surface thereof, and is connected to an adjacent LED with a wire 5. An LED 2 is fitted to the root of the dent 11 via a conductive adhesive, and a surface electrode is connected to the adjacent electrode pattern 15 via the wire 5, and concealed with transparent epoxy resin 6. A front lens plate 3 is transparent polycarbonate and, each convex lens 31 corresponds to the LED 2 and has a pin 7 at four corners. The pin 7 is inserted in a retaining hole 8, thereby combining the metal board 1 with the lens plate 3. Then, the lighting direction A of the LED 2 coincides with the optical axis B of the lens 31 with a deviation (d) within an allowable range. According to the aforesaid constitution, an LED lighting fixture of high illuminance suitable for mass production can be obtained. |
