PURPOSE: To suppress uneven film thickness of a color filter and to obtain good display quality. CONSTITUTION: When a color filter 13 is formed by photolithographic method or the like, sometimes the edge part of a color filter 13 is built up. In the corner part 13a of the color filter 13, the builtup state of two edge parts adjacent to each other affect to make these edge parts significantly rise. However, in the case as shown in the figure, the corner part 13a is rounded so that builtup of the edge part affects little and that the film thickness of the color filter 13 is made uniform. Thus, a uniform cell gap is obtd. and good display quality is maintained. |
