PURPOSE: To make it possible to replace a battery without a break in talking or re-dialing in a portable radio terminal. CONSTITUTION: A main portable radio terminal body 1 includes a main power battery 2 for feeding power to a main power circuit unit 4. An auxiliary capacitor power supply 3 is provided in parallel with the main power circuit unit 4. The auxiliary capacitor power supply 3 is always charged by the main battery power supply 3. When a battery capacitor detection alarm is sounded, a battery 2 already mounted is taken out and replaced with a spare battery 5. During the battery replacement, the auxiliary capacitor power supply 3 feeds power to the main power circuit unit 4 so that the main power circuit unit 4 is operated continuously. In this way, the battery 2 can be replaced without a break in talking. |
