<p>PURPOSE: To miniaturize a recording and reproducing device by equipping the lock mechanism with a lock lever for sliding integrally with a head supporting member in connection and energizing a robot lever with elastic force of an compliant member for pressurized contact. CONSTITUTION: When the cassette holder 14 is pressed down against elastic force of a torsion spring 19, an engagement piece 14C is moved upward to release the engagement between the engagement piece 14C and an engagement part 13D of the lock lever 13. Since this lever 13 is integrally connected with a head base 7 energized by elastic force of a spring 5 for pressurized contact with a head, the elastic force of the spring 8 is imparted as a sliding habit in the direction of A. Therefore, the lever 13 is slid by releasing the engagement between the engagement part 13D and the engagement piece 14C of the holder 14. Consequently, since the lever 13 is energized by the elastic force of the spring 8, a locking compliant member is unnecessitated, thus a tape player is miniaturized.</p> |
