<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a rush current to IC card from being generated in the case of inserting the IC card or the like to a device for mounting it. CONSTITUTION: When a card 10 is inserted to the device, a current is supplied from the power source of the device. When starting the insertion, that current flows through a current limit resistor provided inside a control part 40 in the card 10 and a power supply line 40L to a circuit network 20. Namely, any large current does not flow to the circuit network 20. The potential of the power supply line 40L is gradually increased corresponding to the current to flow to the current limit resistor and its resistance value. When the potential of the power supply line 40L is increased, a relay provided parallelly with the current limit resistor is turned on, a power source terminal 31 and the power supply line 40L are short-circuited, and the current limit resistor is disconnected. Namely, an ordinary current flows to the circuit network 20.</p> |
