<p>PURPOSE: To easily obtain a signal of desired width with no adjustment by controlling the delay value of a delay circuit by means of a control signal that is obtained through comparison of widths between a synchronizing signal and a burst gate pulse. CONSTITUTION: The noises are deleted out of the input video signal, and the video sepal undergoes the synchronizing separation through a synchronizing separator 14. The synchronizing signal (input pulse) is delayed by a delay circuit 16 and a delay signal is obtained. Then a burst gate pulse (output pulse) is obtained from the delay signal through a burst gate pulse generation circuit 18. A comparator 20 compares the width of the synchronizing signal obtained from the separator 14 with the width of the burst gate pulse obtained from the circuit 18. Then a control signal is given to the circuit 16 based on the result of comparison of the comparator 20. The circuit 16 controls the delay value in response to the received control signal, and a burst gate pulse of desired width is outputted from the circuit 18 in accordance with control of the delay value of the circuit 16.</p> |
