PURPOSE: To resolve the problem that it is difficult to detect the carrier on the reception side with respect to data of regularity like silence data by subjecting the digital transmission data, which is scrambled by random codes, to phase shift modulation to transmit this data in the optical space transmission system using infrared rays. CONSTITUTION: A digital audio signal S1 from a digital audio (AV) apparatus 2 is transmitted and received by an audio signal transmission equipment 1 provided with a transmission system consisting of a transmitter 3 and an infrared emitter 4 and a reception system having the similar constitution. The transmission equipment 1 scrambles the signal S1 by required random codes and subjects it to phase shift modulation and transmits it. By this constitution where scrambled data is modulated as prescribed, even data of regularity like silence data is made artificially irregular to resolve the problem that it is difficult to detect the carrier on the reception side. |
