PURPOSE: To obtain a receiver and a transmitter-receiver having a clock recovery means able to keep phase synchronization even when a frequency deviation between a symbol clock component of a reception signal and a self-running frequency of a clock recovery circuit is in existence and a non-reception time is long. CONSTITUTION: The receiver and the transmitter-receiver have a demodulate 2 demodulating a reception signal, a clock recovery circuit 105a recovering a clock phase-locked to a symbol clock component of the reception signal, and a frequency deviation correction means 145a correcting a frequency deviation between a symbol clock component frequency in the received signal and the self-running frequency of the clock recovery circuit 105a by controlling a variable frequency division number of a variable frequency divider 6 being a component of a phase control loop of the clock recovery circuit 105a, and the means 145 corrects the frequency deviation in a different operation timing from that of the clock recovery circuit 105a. |
