PURPOSE: To provide a mobile communication system which reduces the power control error in a mobile station and a base station even when there is large variance in the reception signal power and effectively uses the radio wave. CONSTITUTION: A base station 1-1 measures the reception signal power in this station 1-1 of the radio signal coming from a mobile station 1-2 and adds information of one or more bits corresponding to the value, which is obtained by subtracting a required reception signal power in the base station 1-1 from the reception signal power in the base station 101, to the data frame (transmission signal) from the base station 1-1 to the mobile station 1-2. When the data frame to which this information is added is received by the mobile station 1-2, the mobile station 1-2 adjusts the transmission signal power of the mobile station 1-2 based on this information.
