PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain re-dialing by easily replacing a wrong prefix code with a correct prefix code even when a call is not connected with a previously selected and dialed telephone number due to the use of the wrong prefix code. SOLUTION: A telephone 200 or other electric communication terminals are provided with a dialing device for changing the prefix code of a number previously selected by a user, and forming a new telephone number. The change of the previous code is automatically performed by the telephone 200 in response to a signal from an electric communication network indicating that the previously selected telephone number has a wrong prefix code. The new telephone number is dialed by the telephone 200 according to the de-energization or termination of the selecting means. Also, a control signal indicating that the wrong prefix code is being used is transmitted to the paging telephone in response to the paged telephone number having the wrong prefix code in the electric communication system. |
