Toilet paper (20) is stored on a drum (2) which is free to rotate on a horizontal spindle (21). The free end of the paper passes between a vertical plate (30) and a band (31) which is in tension against the plate and carried by two drums (32). One of the two drums (32) is rotated by a motor (33) and the paper is protected by freely rotating wheels (35) located at either end of the vertical plate (30). Operation is initiated by entering a smart card or money into a reader (4) and terminated by a timer (37). |
