PURPOSE: To remove harmonics and stabilize the function of improving a fundamental wave by providing a capacitor inserted into a system having a high source impedance and an active filter provided in the master bus bar of an electric power system. CONSTITUTION: A capacitor 10 for reducing an impedance is inserted into a system having a high source impedance (emergency generator AG side), and a current transformer 7 and an active filter 8 are connected to a master bus bar. The capacitance of the capacitor 10 is set to such a value that the capacity of a power source becomes not less than 1.4 times the capacity of a load. For that reason, the source impedance as viewed from the active filter 8 is lowered, and when two functions of removing harmonics and improving a fundamental wave are carried out by one active filter 8, the stable operation can be obtained. |
