摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell which has favorable electric property enabling the maximum efficiency and an absorbing layer being made morphologically favorably by completely suppressing an alkaline metal diffusion into an absorptive layer, and by the addition of a weighed quantity into the alkaline metallic element or an alkaline metallic element compound in or after manufacture of a rear electrode. SOLUTION: An element, selected from Na, K, and Li or the compound of the element, is added by doping before or during the manufacture of absorptive layers 4 and 5. Then, by the diffusion intercepting layer 2 arranged between a substrate 1 and the absorptive layer 5, the additional diffusion of the alkaline metallic ions from the substrate into the absorptive layer during a manufacture process is checked. Then, the concentration decided by desired doping of the element within the completed absorptive layers 3 and 4 is adjusted. Hereby, the influence on the substrate to the property of the solar cell after the manufacture can be eliminated, and a solar cell which has good cell properties enabling the maximum efficiency and the absorptive layer being made morphologically satisfactory can be obtained.
