<p>PURPOSE: To improve the forgery preventability while keeping the performance as information recording medium by providing an information pattern to be hardly sensed by the third person in a magnetic recording layer without decreasing the quantity of recordable information. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the information recording medium having a magnetic recording layer 3 on a support 1, the lower layer of the magnetic recording layer is provided with a magnetic pattern layer 2 where a printing pattern is formed by an ink mixing more than two kinds of magnetic substances having mutually different coercive force. Concerning the reading method for such an information recording medium and the magnetic transfer foil, the magnetic data of the magnetic recording medium in the inserted information recording medium or the like are temporarily stored in a memory and after those data are erased from the magnetic recording layer, the magnetic pattern of the magnetic pattern layer is read out to execute truth/ false judgement. When this medium is true as the result of this judgement, the execution of prescribed processing is permitted. After the processing is completed, the magnetic data in the memory are returned to the magnetic recording layer and the information recording medium, etc., is ejected.</p> |
