<p>PURPOSE: To easily prevent an illegal card or the like by recording information in the card corresponding to a two-dimensional graphic code while using a capacity pattern peculiar to the card as a password, and judging whether that card is the illegal card or not by reading the password from a detection line at a prescribed position and collating it. CONSTITUTION: The capacity pattern on the detection line is checked from a position showing the prescribed position of the detection line on a card 1 toward the card advancing direction. Namely, at the position of the card 1 where a glass fiber 2 exists on a detection line, the capacity composed of the glass fiber 2 and a roller 3 is increased. On the other hand, the capacity is reduced at the intermediate part of only paper where the glass fiber 2 does not exist. Then, the capacity pattern peculiar to this card 1, for which the oscillation frequency of an oscillation circuit 4 is lowered at the position where the glass fiber exists, is detected and it is judged as a proper card. When the capacity pattern of the password is not detected, on the other hand, this card is judged as an illegal card and following processing is stopped.</p> |
