PURPOSE: To shorten the period of polling to all terminal stations. CONSTITUTION: A BS timing signal generation circuit 11 generates a BS timing signal Ma to give differences to the timing, which is indicated by the BS synchronizing signal from a base station, among terminal stations. Battery saring of the terminal station is executed by the signal Ma. The base station multiplexes the peculiar number of the terminal station, of which maintenance information is requested, with a channel for maintenance to send this number. A maintenance information request signal detection circuit 17 recognized that maintenance information is requested if the peculiar number of the station itself coincides with the transmitted peculiar number. A maintenance information sending circuit 18a collects maintenance information and sends it from a transmission part to the base station. Thus, successive polling to terminal stations become possible because the power-on time is different by terminal stations. |
