PURPOSE: To provide an IC card device being normally operated even when power interruption owing to the insertion/extraction of the card in an operation occurs. CONSTITUTION: A decoder circuit 21 sets the address of data written or read out based on a command/completion command CMD sent out from a host system 1, and the data written or read out by the command is stored in backup memory 25 by the address set by the decoder circuit 21, and data read/write is performed in main memory 26 by the read/write data stored in the backup memory 25. After that, a control circuit 23 performs such control that only the read/write data for which read/write is completed by a completion command when a detection circuit 24 detects power stoppage can be stored in the backup memory 25 by supplying an auxiliary power source 22 only when the power stoppage from the host system 1 is detected by the detection circuit 24. |
