<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a quantity of peak frequency treated in operation on a distance and speed. CONSTITUTION: A spectrum is obtained from a beat signal obtained by a sensor 1 by performing Fourier transform by a high speed Fourier transform unit 4. At the same time, a spectrum by a linear prediction method is obtained from the beat signal by a linear prediction means 5. A reliability judging means 6 judges reliability of the spectrum by the fast Fourier transform unit by using the spectrum by the linear prediction method, and selects a proper peak frequency. An operation means 7 calculates a distance and speed by using the selected peak frequency. Since the reliability judging means 6 select a single peak frequency on frequencies to be treated as a single target, an information quantity treated by the operation means is reduced, and a burden is reduced.</p> |
