<p>PURPOSE: To stably control the write-in and read-out to/from a buffer of cell data, regardless of input/output conditions such as a write-in speed and a read- out speed, etc., and to detect the abnormality of an address line. CONSTITUTION: For the cell buffer not shown in the figure, the area of the cell buffer is divided into banks by the area of the integral multiple of one cell. Information holding means 9-1-9-n are provided for the respective banks, signals for indicating the end of the write-in to the banks are held when ending the write-in to the banks and the holding of the signals is cancelled when ending the read-out from the banks. The states of the information holding means are inspected. Thus, buffer overflow, buffer empty and an address line abnormal state are judged.</p> |
