PURPOSE: To print a postal code even in an unstipulated postal code frame by inputting length from the upper left end of a postcard, to the upper left end of the postal code frame at a leftest end and printing the postal code based on the value. CONSTITUTION: When the length measured from the upper left end of the postcard to the upper left end 23 of the postal code frame 21 at the leftest end of a postal code frame group 22 is 45mm in a right direction and 10mm in a down direction for instance, 45mm is set for the parameter in the right direction of the printing position specification of a printing format setting screen displayed at a display device and 10mm is set for the parameter in the down direction respectively by a keyboard. Thus, the postal code is correctly printed inside the frame 22 of the postal code. Also, when the length to the postal code frame of a postal card and a New Year's greeting card stipulated by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications is set as a default value and printing is performed as it is without newly setting the value, the postal, code is printed in the postal code frame of the normal postal card. |
