PURPOSE: To provide an information processor with which the amount of sentences can be decreased corresponding to respective kinds even when the kinds of sentences are increased. CONSTITUTION: The sentence held in a source sentence holding part 1 is extracted, morpheme analysis processing is performed to the entire sentence, and the sentence is decomposed into units of words. The decomposed words are counted for every part of speech, when all the words are completely counted, the ratio in the entire sentence is calculated and the feature of the inputted sentence is calculated. The feature is previously extracted in a feature data holding part for every sentence type. The calculated feature is collated with the feature data extracted in the feature data holding part 5. The distance is calculated for judging which sentence type feature data are closest to the calculated feature. The feature data of the shortest distance are defined as the sentence type of the inputted sentence by a sentence type judging part 4. A sentence summarizing part 6 stores the summarizing procedures of different methods for every sentence type. In the case of the summarizing procedure effective for the report article type of newspaper, for example, data showing 5W1H are written in the first paragraph of the report article so that the irreducibly minimum information can remain even when all the data after the first paragraph are erased. |
