PURPOSE: To provide a commodity sales registration data processor which can be easily handled and can quickly and accurately restore the commodity sales registration job processing that is discontinued due to a service interruption to be in the state that is set before the service interruption at the restarting time. CONSTITUTION: This data processor is provided with a backup power supply 51, a service interruption detection means 52, a nonvolatile key capture file 23K, a power interruption recognition file 23P, key input information storage control means 21 and 22, power interruption recognition storage control means 21 and 22, judging means 21 and 22, key input information read control means 21 and 22, and re-execution control means 21 and 22, and the key input information are stored in the order of input of them during the processing of a commodity sales registration job. The stored key input information is read out after the service interruption and at the restarting time and at the same time the commodity sales registration job processing is carried out again based on a commodity sales registration data processing program. Thus, the state that is set before the service interruption can be automatically restored. |
