The convector is designed for water and steam installations of new and of occupied buildings. It is mounted in the lowest part of the volume to be heated and it guarantees cheap, effective, comfortable and healthy heating. The convectors is made of a ribbed tubular heater fitted into a housing in longitudinal position being parallepiped in form and inclunding supporting frames, surrounding walls and diverting partitions. The heater is in the form of a ribbed tube (1) made of a basic steel cylindrical tube to which a spirally continuous band of the same material is welded. The supporting frames (3.1) are in the form of open contours from the face side of the housing each having a rear vertical arm and three each profile bent arms latteral to it. The surrounding walls are front protruding lamellas (3.2) fitted to the lower and middle lateral arms of the supporting frames (3.1) coveted by flat lamellas (3.3) fitted on both sides to the upper lateral arms of frames (3.1), and rear (3.4) vertical insulation flat planes having distance-type lamellas (3.5) fitted to the lower ends.
