PURPOSE: To obtain a master plate excellent in printing durability in which reproducibility of images can be stably obtd. by depositing a photosensitive layer and an ink-repelling layer on a base body and incorporating a polybutadiene having polymerizable reactive groups in the molecule into the photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive layer and an ink-repelling layer are deposited in this order on a base body, and the photosensitive layer contains polybutadiene having polymerizable reactive groups in the molecule. As for the ink repelling layer, silicone rubber is preferably used and the layer is formed by diluting a silicone gum compsn. in a polyorganosiloxane with a solvent and applying the obtd. soln. on the photosensitive layer and oxidizing by heating. As for the polybutadiene having polymerizable reactive groups in the molecule, for example, such a compd. can be used that is prepared by the reaction of one mol of epoxy group-contg. polybutadiene with one or more mole of ethylenic unsatd. compd. which can react with the polybutadiene. The polybutadiene thus obtd. can suppress changing of the exposed part of the photosensitive layer into rigid but to make the photosensitive layer soft. Thereby, printing durability is provided for the printing plate. |
