PURPOSE: To provide the transmission/reception control method for the radio telephone system which suppresses the power consumption when holding a call. CONSTITUTION: A voice detection part 9 which detects the presence or the absence of voice, a transmitter part 3 which interruptedly transmits a transmission radio wave at the time of silence, a holding switch 8 which holds a call, and an OR circuit 11 which takes the call holding time as the silence time to output a signal to the transmitter part 3 when holding a call are provided. |
