PURPOSE: To provide a fuel cell power generation system which can maintain high performance by preventing carbon from depositing on the catalyst of a steam reformer. CONSTITUTION: A replaceable prereformer 20 in which noble metal catalyst is filled and a prereformer bypass line 21 are arranged between a hydrodesulfurizing device 3 and a steam reformer 4. A differential pressure gauge 30 to measure a pressure difference between both is arranged between an inlet side line and an outlet side line of the prereformer 20, and a gas analyzer 31 or a gas sampling port is arranged on a line connecting the prereformer 20 and the steam reformer 4, and a thermometer 32 is also arranged to measure a gas temperature of an outlet part of the prereformer 20. A pressure gauge 33 to detect initial pressure of the prereformer is arranged on the inlet side line of the prereformer 20. |
