PURPOSE: To efficiently perform trimming always with a trimming groove having a predetermined width. CONSTITUTION: While electric characteristics of an electronic part 4 mounted on a circuit board 10 are measured, a laser beam is shed to a region to be trimmed of the electronic part 4 for trimming the part, and thereafter an image of a trimming groove of the electronic part 4 is picked up to compare a measured length value of its width with a reference value. Based on the results of the comparison, new machining conditions for subsequent trimming are automatically set. A measured length value and data such as new machining conditions according to the value can be stored so that it can be taken out as a database. |
