PURPOSE: To display a simple picture at the level of bar graph by expressing respective characters and a turning-off disable area existent between the characters while regarding it as one factor of bar graph. CONSTITUTION: A pattern for each factor of the bar graph is set to a display module 1, with which a user can freely define external characters, dedicated to the display of characters composed of an odd number of characters laterally and dots more than one longitudinally by using an odd number of strings of dots 4 consisting of characters 2 and 3. Then, those characters 2 and 3 and the turning-off disable area existent between the characters 2 and 3 are utilized regarding it as one factor of the bar graph so that various kinds of numerical information can be expressed not as Arabic numerals but as the bar graph for visually supporting comprehension. Thus, a simple picture on the level of bar graph can be displayed. |
