PURPOSE: To provide a semiconductor laser control device capable of obtaining an ideal output waveform by improving deviation from a desired output value of a current driving part. CONSTITUTION: A signalΔI1 is proportional to the difference current between a monitor signal Im and a light emitting command signal Isig and obtained from an error amplifier 1. A signalΔIa is proportional to the light emitting command signal Isig obtained from a current driving part 3. A differential signalΔIb is obtained from the value proportional to the light emitting command signal Isig corresponding to a compensating signal Icomp obtained from a compensator 7. By using the sum of these three signals as an output current ILD of a current amplifier 2, the deviation from a desired value of the output current ILD is largely improved, and stable laser output is obtained.
