PURPOSE: To eliminate mechanical stress by installing a cold filter on the surface of lamp house without pressing, and to eliminate labor for installation by reducing the number of part items required for fixing the old filter. CONSTITUTION: Constituted are a frame-shaped fixing metal fitting 7 having an opening 10 for projection at its central part, bent parts 11 at its periphery, and locking segments 8 and 9 at the right and the left bent part 11, and locking holes 4 and 5 provided on the surface of the lamp house 1 of a metal halide lamp 2. The width of the bent parts 11 is larger than the thickness of a cold filter 6. The length between the bent parts 11 is longer than the size of the cold filter 6. The periphery of the cold filter 6 is supported with the bent parts 11 with allowance provided in front and rear, right and left, and up and down directions. The locking segments 8 and 9 are inserted into the corresponding to locking holes 4 and 5 for locking. The cold filter 6 is held between the fixing metal fitting 7 and the surface of the lamp house 1 for installation. |
