PURPOSE: To surely feed a recording medium provided in a housing part to a driving part with a miniaturized mechanism. CONSTITUTION: When a feeding member 33 is moved toward anα-direction, the member is, at first, rotated clockwise and next is rotated counterclockwise. During the feeding member 33 is shifted from a posture 1 to a posture 4, the engaging part 33c formed in the feeding member 33 is engaged with the recessed part C2 of the side plane face of the cartridge of the recording medium and then the cartridge is surely fed to the direction of the driving part by the moving force to theα-direction of the feeding member 33. When the cartridge is returned to the housing part, the cartridge is surely returned by the feeding member 33 restoring from the posture 4 to the posture 1.
