<p>A composition for treating diarrhea comprises carrots, rice, bananas and glucose in powered form, the carrots and rice having been cooked and dried prior to being ground to powder. The composition may also contain one or more of powdered pineapple, apples, soybeans and maltodextrin. An effective amount of the composition is administered to a patient, such as an infant, to treat and alleviate diarrhea.</p> |
