The mechanism comprises a base frame (3), an injector pump tube (19) with powder delivery hoses (21), and suspension (11) for the injector pump tube. A sack retaining lift frame (61) is vertically movable on the base frame and a suction ring (24) is powder-tight connectable to the sack outside. The ring has an aperture, through which the injector pump tube penetrates and is longitudinally slidable. The ring is in the form of a hollow rotation body with inner and outer jacket surfaces of cylindrical configuration with an air gap between the inner surface and the pump tube.
