摘要 The method provides control of the drive unit, in which an operating parameter of the drive unit or the vehicle is limited to a max. permissible value. The power output from the drive unit is varied in leaps, in the sense of a limitation of the operating parameter to a max. permissible value. The size of the variations is dependent on the gradients of the parameter to be limited. Preferably, the drive unit power is controlled via a control element in dependence on a given value. This value may be a measurement of motor load, motor moment, motor power, throttle position, etc. The appts. for carrying out the method has a limiter. This varies the output power in leaps in the sense of a limitation of the operating parameter to a max. value, on achieving the max. permissible operating parameter value or on reaching an intersection value.
