PURPOSE:To lower the self-start frequency of a motor and to reduce the cost by driving a motor drive circuit at a pulse interval composed of first and second steps. CONSTITUTION:When a given pulse interval t is expressed by t=T (period)/n (number of pulses) in the first step, a motor drive circuit 8 is driven at a pulse interval t1 larger than said given pulse interval t. In the second second step, moreover, said motor drive circuit 8 is driven at a pulse interval gradually decreasing from the pulse interval t1 in the next timing action and thereafter. In this manner, it is possible to lower the self-start frequency of a stepping motor 9 and to reduce the cost thereof. |
