A process is disclosed for removing a moulding (14) with a holder (20, 50, 52, 54) from the path (30) of an incoming row (16) of mouldings (14) arranged face to face and moved at a speed v1 and for inserting a moulding (24) into an outgoing row (28) of mouldings. In order to create a process for removing and inserting mouldings (14, 24) in a production plant with fast production cycles, a first moulding (14), namely the front moulding of the incoming row (16), is conveyed at an increased speed v2 into the holder (20, 50, 52, 54), a second moulding (24) located in the holder (20, 50, 52, 54) is inserted into the outgoing row (28) and is then moved with the holder (20, 50, 52, 54) out of the path (30) of the incoming row (16). |
