Each connection (C) bonded to a wire (W) is locked by an elastic element (2) in the correct position in its compartment (1) of the plug housing (A1). The compartment has a peripheral wall (3) projecting from the back of the housing with an opening (4) serving as a pivot point for a position corrector (T1). When this is pushed in, an incompletely inserted connection is brought into position for advancement and secure locking. A check piece (4a) is cut from the opening to afford visual evidence of completion of the correction.
