X-ray film image digitising device

The device has an X-ray film (10) pressed (6) to an aSi:H detector matrix (3). An illumination arrangement (8,9) superimposes the film image on the detector matrix. The press-on device (6) is transparent and is arranged on the input side for the X-radiation (1). A flat waveguide plate (11) is used for imaging the film on the detector matrix. The waveguide plate is constructed so that parallel light is radiated for projection. A light plate (12) with a row of diodes (9) and lenses (8) is used for imaging. Images are generated in a processor for improved resolution. The film is electrostatically charged.
