Prodn. of synthetic heating gas

Prodn. of synthetic heating gas comprises (a) contacting 60-80 vol.% a solvent C8H18 8-12 vol.% n-hexane C6H14, 5-10 vol.% technical alcohol C2H5OH, and 5-20 vol.% methanol CH3OH in a closed vessel at room temp. and normal pressure; and (b) feeding an O2 contg. gas at 1 atm. from the base into the vessel using an air pump. The materials are mixed and produce a combustible gas. The gas is removed from the vessel and collected. An appts. for carrying out the process is also claimed.
